Strata RCM was born out of necessity and built on integrity.
In the late 1990s, our founders discovered a serious issue affecting affiliated physician groups. Two billing companies were involved, yet revenue was being lost, claims were going unpaid, patient encounters were not completely reconciled to the log. A closer review revealed significant missed revenue and processes that lacked the transparency, accuracy, and accountability physicians deserved.
Rather than accept those losses, the team took control founding Strata RCM in 2000 with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and complete visibility into the revenue cycle.
What began as a response to a problem has grown into a company dedicated to protecting healthcare organizations’ earned revenue, improving billing accuracy, and managing the full revenue cycle with confidence and competence.
That same commitment continues to guide our work today. It informs our revenue recovery efforts, denial follow-up, chart reconciliation, reporting, and proactive support for physician practices.
